Since 1996

Barra Dica was established in 1996, as Areia Branca Lodge, by the Beans. New owners Dries & Herliaan Visser acquired this property in December 2016, and claimed it as their piece of paradise. They relocated here with their 3x sons, for a "quality of life" change.
Since 2016, Dries and Herliaan have welcomed many traveling strangers, whom all left as friends of the family.
